Vocational Education: What is taught?

In the basic vocational education, knowledge and skills are taught that are necessary for a certain profession or professional field . The basic vocational education comprises professional practice as well as general and job-related education.
Regulations
The performance goals, learning content and its dissemination through the training locations (vocational schools, company of employment,, cross-company courses) are determined in the guidelines for the basic vocational education for the respective professions as well as in the respective training plans. Professional organisations may develop additional training courses.
The general education classes in the vocational schools shall be newly regulated through the "Regulation of the Minimum Regulations for General Education in the Basic Vocational Training" and the corresponding "Curriculum for General Education".
For students that are interested, freely selectable subjects can be chosen when studying at the vocational schools. Attendance must be coordinated with the company of employment.
Vocational Matura
The vocational Matura can be taken in six disciplines: technical, administrative, design, commercial, natural science and, as a new discipline, healthcare and social work.
Following six basis subjects are taught:
