The higher vocational education in figures
 |  | In 2004, 11,368 students successfully completed the vocational exam (Berufsprüfung), 3195 the higher vocational exam (höhere Fachprüfung) and 4067 graduated from a higher specialist school (Höhere Fachschule).
The educational expenses for higher vocational education amounted to CHF 247.6 million in 2002. The Confederation paid a share of CHF 31.6 million, the cantons CHF 214.4 million and the municipalities CHF 1.5 million. |
