Higher vocational education: What happens after graduation?
 |  | The range of post diploma courses and post diploma studies at higher specialist schools is very varied. Holders of a diploma (higher vocational exam or higher specialist school diploma) who fulfil the supplementary requirements can attend a university of applied sciences. Individuals who have passed a vocational exam and are in possession of a federal certificate (eidgenössischer Fähigkeitsausweis) have to pass a higher vocational exam (höhere Fachprüfung) before they are able to enrol at a university of applied sciences. |
